    Capstone Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Administrator, located at Corporate Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Administers assigned contracts and subcontracts under minimum direction.
    • Negotiates, administers, and manages various government and commercial contracts of all contract types from proposal development through close-out.
    • Participates as a key team member during the proposal development process by providing guidance relevant to contract and subcontract requirements.
    • Maintains contract and subcontract documents and prepares letters, memorandums, reports, and all relevant correspondence.
    • Conducts negotiations of terms and conditions to various agreements including Nondisclosure Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding/Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Subcontract Agreements, modifications, and final closeout/releases.
    • Leads, coordinates, and reviews Capstone and teammate's cost and business proposal submissions and conducts negotiations when necessary.
    • Performs other duties as required to support the mission of Capstone's Contracts Department.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum education and experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or 4 years additional experience in lieu of degree.
    •  Five (5) years experience in federal government service contracting and subcontracting.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in a broad range of functional assignments within the contract administration field and proven skills in the ability to assess the aspects of contract information including the identification of risks, opportunities and acquisition approaches.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, mathematical and organizational abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as ability to interact positively and productively with all types of personnel in a team environment.
    • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline orientated environment. Flexible and/or extended hours maybe required.
    • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) applications.
    • Proficiency using Excel to create cost spreadsheets.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience using Deltek, and GCS Premier Contracts Module.
