  • Overview

    The Senior Contracts and Pricing Manager provides critical contract management and business development support functions for Capstone Corporation.  This position reports directly to the Director of Support Services based at the corporate headquarters in Alexandria, VA.


    • Administers assigned contracts and subcontracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
    • Drafts, reviews, and conducts negotiations of terms and conditions to various agreements including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding/Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Subcontract Agreements, modifications, and final closeout/releases.
    • Assists with establishing standard tools and processes for use within the Contracts Department and in support of Operations.
    • Provides expertise regarding Government contract processes and procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements, and industry standards.
    • Maintains contract and subcontract documents and prepares letters, memorandums, reports, and all relevant correspondence.
    • Participates as a key team member during the proposal development process, providing guidance relevant to contract and subcontract requirements.
    • As a pricing subject matter expert, reviews bases of estimate, recommends labor category rates, and builds pricing models in accordance with Capstone processes and compliant with solicitation instructions.
    • Creates cost volumes with supporting documentation in compliance with FAR and internal policies and procedures in response to solicitations.
    • Supports Capture Managers in the conduct of price to win analyses.
    • Performs other duties as required to support the mission of Capstone’s Contracts Department.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum education and years of experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or four (4) additional years of experience.

    • Eight (8) years of experience in government services contracts administration including three (3) years of experience developing proposal pricing models.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Demonstrated proficiency within the Government contract administration field and proven ability to assess contracts and related documents to identify risks, opportunities and acquisition approaches.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the development and analysis of pricing data.
