  • Overview

    Capstone is seeking a Developer/Architect I to support the Navy’s Manpower Personnel Training Education Enterprise (MPTE) Technical Services Support (TSS) contract.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develops test scripts, data, and testing configurations necessary to conduct application unit, string, and integrated system tests.
    • Performs required testing, maintains written test result reports, identifies/coordinates test issues with microcomputer/network support personnel, provides written documentation to support program/system maintenance during the operational phase, and releases completed deliverables.
    • Provides system integration support for LAN analysis, server support, configuration, testing, and implementation.
    • Identifies solutions to address possible speed enhancements that may require one or more major modifications to the system.
    • Provides Common Access Card (CAC) Authentication servers support in a Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) environment to include installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, monitoring, deployment, and performance tuning, etc.
    • Designs, develops, and supports secure web services using Service-Oriented Architecture concepts.
    • Installs and maintains an enterprise service bus to support web services and provide application programming interfaces.
    • Provides support for NETC domain public Internet Web site databases and Structured Query Language (SQL) servers.
    • Provides detailed input to NETC N6 DITPR-DON management efforts for NETC Public web sites.
    • Develops graphics and artwork to support the site and special customer requirements; and conducts day-to- day maintenance of the site.
    • Provides programming support using XML to develop, modify, and maintain SW written in XML. This shall include: XML schema coding and validation, XML programming IAW application programming standards.
    • Provides system integration support for Web site development and implementation.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of the Navy College Program Web Site; and perform system analysis, design, integration, programming, and implementation of the Site.
    • Develops and maintain dynamic web pages using Active Server Page (ASP) technology, COLDFUSION and other developer tools including database connectivity to various databases.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum education and experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Information technology, Computer Science, Math, Business, Engineering, or physical science.

    • Twelve (12) years of software, systems/network architecture, project management, cloud infrastructure.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Experience in software, systems/network architecture, project management, and cloud infrastructure.

    Certification:

    • Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) may be required at the task order level.

    Minimum clearance:

    • DoD Secret clearance.
