  • Overview

    Capstone Corporation is currently seeking a Military Information Support Operations (MISO)/ Psychological Operations (PSYOP) Trainer at 1st Information Operations Command located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.


    • Serves as a Training Specialist providing technical guidance in MISO courseware development and presentation.
    • Develops curriculum using analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) processes.
    • Maintains training and professional development.
    • Maintains liaison with DOD and other agencies to keep abreast of technological developments and trends.
    • Provides technical advice and guidance to personnel at other training schools on the development of current and future Information Operations training.
    • Formulates and integrates various Programs of Instruction (POI) in concert with Army MISO policy and doctrine training.
    • Presents formal platform instruction to students regarding the planning and execution of MISO.
    • Applies a variety of learning strategies and models for adult learners, including experiential blended learning, application of learning technologies and approaches to instructional and curriculum design methodologies.
    • Maintains currency in all aspects of IO, Cyberspace and MISO making required changes to lessons and training materials.
    • Functions as a member of mobile training teams (MTTs).
    • Assists in the development and execution of training.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum education and years of experience:

    • Master's degree and two (2) years related experience; OR
    • Bachelor's degree and four (4) years related experience; OR
    • Eight (8) years related experience.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Familiarity with providing instruction.
    • Knowledge of MISO.
    • Ability to gain knowledge of the ADDIE process to author curriculum.
    • Knowledge of Training Doctrine Command Regulations and guidelines.
    • Excellent written communications, research and evaluation skills.
    • Excellent oral communications skills for providing instruction to a wide variety of audiences, using various multi-media presentation systems.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain TRADOC Instructor Certification within six months of date of employment.

    Minimum clearance:

    • Active DoD TS with SCI eligibility
