    Capstone Corporation is seeking a Software Developer to support the Joint Staff J35/SPAWAR Joint Response Integrated and Collaborative Decision Support Tool (JRICO) Emerging Capabilities Technology Development (ECTD) program. JRICO ECTD will transition to the Global Force Engagement Situational Awareness Tool (GFESAT) Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) in 2019. Activities include software development and integration. Support will be provided at the Naval Support Activity, Norfolk, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Performs software development and integration activities required to operationalize JRICO/GFESAT.
    • Develops lite apps for Global Force Management (GFM) tools that include Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager (JCRM), Preferred Force Generator (PFG) and Joint Capability Support to National Emergencies (JCStoNE) for integration into JRICO/GFESAT and onto the ORION framework.
    • Assists with activities related to integration of big data analytics and artificial intelligence through machine learning into JRICO/GFESAT.
    • Experiments with graph analytics techniques and visualization tools to enhance user experience.
    • Interfaces with Government and contracted network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development subject matter experts.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum education and years of experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
    • Six (6) years relevant experience in information technology (IT) application administration.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Experience with agile engineering process.
    • Familiarity with automated build and continuous integration and deployment techniques.
    • Adept in multiple computer languages such as C++, Java, and JavaScript.
    • Ability to successfully work in a team environment.

    Minimum clearance requirement:

    • Final DoD Secret clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with the Go programming languages.
    • Experience with web components and the Polymer framework.
    • Experience with REST and JSON as well as WSDL and XML.
    • Familiarity of the GFM mission and related processes, procedures, and tools including JCStoNE, JCRM, and PFG.
    • Familiarity with JRICO.
    • Familiarity with the Global Laydown Server (GLS), ORION, Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), Joint Information Environment (JIE), and Joint C2 Reference Architecture (JC2RA).
    • Familiarity with ECTDs/JCTDs.
