Capstone Corporation is currently seeking a NetApp Administrator to support the Naval Sea Command (NAVSEA), located at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA.

This position will be filled upon contract award.

• Under general supervision, directs and ensures the operation of hardware and software systems required to support LAN or WAN operations.
• Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
• Performs system backups and recovery.
• Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
• Gathers and analyzes statistical data on network usage and response.
• May supervise a team of information technology professionals.

Minimum education and years of experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing systems administration functions in support of Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).

Qualifications:

•  Network administration experience.

Certification:

• 8570 requirement of IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+).
• NetApp Certified Storage Associate (NCSA)

Clearance:

• Secret clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
