  • Overview

    Capstone Corporation is currently seeking a .Net Developer to support the Naval Sea Command (NAVSEA), located at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA.

     

    This position will be filled upon contract award.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques, and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
    • Interprets software requirements and designs specifications code, and integrates and tests software components.
    • Estimates software development costs and schedule.
    • Reviews existing programs and assists in implementing refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques.
    • Analyzes and studies complex system requirements.
    • Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses, and manages their implementation.
    • May supervise teams and personnel designing and supporting software efforts.
    • Develops, designs and delivers courseware and training related to information technology and cyber security related issues.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum education and years of experience:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline AND
    • Minimum (3) years performing software engineering.

    Certification:

    • IAT Level I.

    Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with .Net Development and associated languages. 
    • Ability to estimate costs and schedules for software development.
    • Familiarity and ability to supervise configuration management.

    Clearance:

    •  Secret clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
