    Capstone Corporation is currently seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst/Specialist to support the Naval Sea Command (NAVSEA), located at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA.

     

    This position will be filled upon contract award.

    Responsibilities

     

    The Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst will perform duties in support of:

    • Cybersecurity/information security concepts and requirements.
    • DOD A&A process and standards.
    • System/network vulnerability analysis.
    • Risk assessment and risk mitigation analysis.
    • Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E).
    • Contingency planning.
    • Firewall Policy.
    • Ports & Protocols.
    • Maintaining all day-to-day VRAM activities.
    • Entering the system baseline configuration in VRAM by uploading vulnerability scan of a representative baseline system.

     

    Basic Qualifications

     

    Minimum education and years of experience:

     

    • Master's Degree in an IT related discipline AND at least eight (8) years of cybersecurity experience; OR nine (9) years of cybersecurity experience.
    • Minimum four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity/A&A analysis support in IA controls analysis, conducting risk assessments, risk mitigation analysis, or developing contingency plans.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Must show experience in IA controls analysis, conducting risk assessments, risk mitigation analysis, or developing contingency plans.
    • Experience in certifying and accrediting DON information systems and networks, as well as Platform IT.
    • Expert knowledge of and experience with cybersecurity requirements as defined by Public Laws, National, DoD, and Dept. of Navy guidance (e.g., FISMA, RMF, NIST).
    • Expert knowledge and experience with the requirements outlined in OPNAVINST N9210.3. Safeguarding Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information.
    • Have the capability of communicating effectively and positively with civilian, Government/military personnel, and other contractors at all levels of staff and management to assure customer satisfaction.

    • The ability to move and maneuver up to 50 pounds of weight (computer hardware, accessories, support equipment, etc.)

    • Have the ability to climb multiple flights of stairs.

     

    Certifications:

     

    • 8570 requirement of IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, or GSLC).
    • Navy Qualified Validator III certification.

     

    Clearance:

     

    • Secret clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
