    Capstone Corporation is currently seeking a Network Engineer/Information Assurance Lead to support the Department of the Army (DA) G 3/5/7 designated Mission Training Complex (MTC) located at The Berry Mission Training Complex at Ft Polk, LA. This training supports small units (squads through companies) and medium-sized units (battalions and brigades) in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Full Spectrum Operations (FSO). 

     

    Capstone endeavors to support the Berry Mission Training Complex with collective Mission Command training, Leader Training and Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Games for Training (GFT), and constructive simulations-supported training, as well as facilities management and access control.  Capstone must be able to simultaneously conduct these training requirements and be able to combine these events into a simultaneous synthetic environment using the Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVCG) Integrated Training Environment (ITE).

     

    This position will be filled upon contract award.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as the overall communications architect and Alternate Information Assurance Support Officer (IASO) for the MTC with coordination responsibility with outside agencies and MTC branches.
    • Createes and establishes communications architecture, coordinates communications plans, configures communications equipment, implements Information Assurance processes, and assists in installing equipment and circuitry in support of distributed exercises.
    • Coordinates all aspects of the communications architecture and exercise support plans with communications planners at other simulation facilities, the Berry MTC Network Enterprise Center, and participating military units.  This includes distribution of data, voice, and video over both LAN and WAN in both classified and unclassified modes for simulations/stimulation networks; NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and tactical networks.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum education and years experience:

    • Bachelor's degree, BA or BS, in Network Management or a related field.
    • Minimum eight (8) years experience in Network Architecture Design and implementation.

    Certification:

    • IAM Level II (CAP, CASP, CISSP, CISM, or GSLC).

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Possess advanced planning, troubleshooting and maintenance skills on servers, routers, switches, firewall configuration and configuration/architecture.

    • Strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies.

    • Have knowledge of specific product lines (for example Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, Tripwire, etc.)

    • Understand the Risk management Framework (RMF) Certification and Accreditation process and Information Assurance requirements.

    Minimum clearance:

    • Final DoD Secret Clearance.
