Overview

Capstone Corporation is currently seeking a Technical Writer to support the Army Training Information Architecture (ATIA) Application Sustainment Program.  The Technical Writer will support the overall mission to provide system configuration and documentation, architecture analysis, software application maintenance, database maintenance, and information assurance documentation and maintenance.

 

This position will be filled upon final contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications, software system configurations and changes, planning meetings, technical meetings, and IPR minutes.
  • Organizes material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Reviews published materials and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, content.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum education and years of experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree; may substitute four (4) years of additional experience for degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the preparation of original text based on technical data, review of graphic design, and organization of text and graphic elements.
  • Experience developing, writing, and editing material for technical documents and publications.
  • No clearance required.
