Capstone Corporation is currently seeking Subject Matter Experts Level I, to support Joint Multinational Simulation Center (JMSC) exercises in Hohenfels, Germany.


These positions support Capstone's temporary on call (TOC) group.


The Subject Matter Expert Level I reports to the Program Manager for the Joint Multinational Simulation Center Battle Staff Training contract.

  • Designs, plans, prepares, executes, assesses, and recovers from multi-nation training program requirements.
  • Responsible for cost control, schedule management, and performance delivery of the program to the Program Manager or his/her designated representative.
  • Maintains continual awareness of development status of the program and associated projects within the program.
  • Monitors/tracks and addresses shortfalls in technical and personnel resources supporting the program and addresses resource shortfalls, escalates associated risks and issues to the Program Manager, Customer, and/or their designated representatives.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with the customer, sub-contractors, and other personnel necessary for the development and delivery of products.
  • Coordinates with sub-contractors for timing of materials development and synchronization of delivery schedules to meet the customer’s requirements.  Also, insures sub-contractors remain compliant with contract specifications while remaining within budgetary constraints to optimize company profit.
  • Provides oversight of all assigned government furnished property to meet U.S. Army property control procedures and meet contractual obligations.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma and ten (10) years experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree and four (4) years.

Minimum requirements:

  • Proven experience related to Government Agencies or any component of DoD.  
  • A solid understanding of training best practices with experience in training military forces in a constructive environment.
  • Ability to  multi-task and organize all facets of the program. 
  • Proven track record leading large projects working with subcontractors and interfacing with multiple customers. 
  • Strong military operational and technical expertise.
  • Proven problem solving skills, facilitation skills, and the ability to operate independently.
  • Ability to travel on a routine basis.

Minimum clearance:

  • Must be Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) eligible.
  • Final DoD Secret clearance.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Operational experience in Afghanistan and/or Iraq.
